Less than a week to go and we’re beyond excited to spend some special time with you.
As the proper countdown begins, we thought it helpful to share some handy info which should hopefully make your journey and celebrations run smoothly.
WHERE IT’S AT
Mid-Wales is home to many a rolling hill and valley, and the venue and accommodation aren’t far out of reach, but here’s a reminder of where the action is happening:

Other Guests
Please remember that Love2Stay is a public staycation destination. We have reserved a large number lodges and huts across the site for guests attending our wedding, but a number of families and other members of the public will also be enjoying the facilities over the weekend.
This in mind, please do remain respectful of noise etc over the weekend. Music should be played indoors only at nighttime and bear in mind that families with children are nearby.

Use of facilities for off-site wedding guests
Love2Stay have confirmed that all families attending the wedding can make free use of the children’s play and climbing areas at any time Friday to Monday. Swimming and spa access is also available for non-residents of Love2Stay at £15 per head, for four-hour access.
TRANSFERS TO THE WEDDING CELEBRATIONS
Saturday – for those staying at Love2Stay, minibus transport to Plas Dinam will leave from the reception area at 12.45 (please be prompt).
Carriages from Plas Dinam at 00.30. A limited-capacity minibus will also depart at 21.30
Sunday – minibuses from Love2Stay to Plas Dinam at 13.00; minibuses available to return from 19.00-23.00
Parking – For those who plan to drive, ample parking will be available at Plas Dinam. Love2Stay offers car parking at each lodge and a separate car park at the reception.
FOOD & DRINK
A number of farm shops, supermarkets and independent producers can be found en route.
For guests staying at Love2Stay, we suggest a base shop for your favourite breakfast items, and maybe your preferred Friday-night or pre-wedding celebration tipple. Lodges are equipped with full self-catering facilities and firepit grills, and a cafe with license is onsite.
For those staying at Plas Dinam, food and drink will be supplied throughout your stay. Limited storage is available but do feel free to bring anything specific you or your family require.
For all guests, food and drink will be provided at Plas Dinam over Saturday & Sunday.
CHILDCARE
Childcare will be provided for guests with children, by Sophie and her team during wedding celebrations at Plas Dinam Saturday 12.00-00.00; Sunday 10.00-00.00.
We will set up a WhatsApp Group to allow parents and the childminding team to communicate over the weekend.

SWIMMING
We’ve been very excited about the Sunday morning dip. Unfortunately, the recent heat wave means that the dipping hole may not have sufficient water levels for swimming, but a dip in the River Severn is a possible alternative. Based on the current weather and changeable forecast, we’ll update those interested nearer the time as to whether a wild swim might be possible.
Love2Stay’s facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and hot tubs at each lodge. There are also play facilities for children.
GIFTS
We’ve had a few enquiries about where to leave wedding gifts. As mentioned in our wedding invitation, your presence really is gift enough.
This said, we suggest bringing cards or presents to the wedding venue on Sunday. If you aren’t attending Sunday, please feel very welcome to come to the main doorway of Plas Dinam before the ceremony on Saturday.

WIND, RAIN OR SHINE
We very much still expect the chance of a bit of drizzle or possibly a downpour – we’re in Wales, the only place in these parts with more unpredictable weather than the Fair Isle…
Whatever the weather, the venue is well-kitted out for all seasons and there will be plenty of brollies and wet-weather provisions, if we need them.
